So here it is lit up. My office is incredibly bright during the day, so this photo was actually taken inside a desk drawer.

That is truly stunning.  I would love to have one of these to review on my youtube channel where you can find the rest of my collection of custom metal sonic screwdrivers.  Please feel free to reach out to me about this wonderful piece of art you've created.

What do you use to make these? I would buy but I'm working to build an entirely custom screwdriver.

Wow, this is an amazing design
Does it just light up or did you add some sort of sfx system as well?

Thanks. It just lights up, but we have some ideas for sound that I'll be looking into after I've finished making a few more of these.

Actually that would be the Mark VIII (or Mark 6.5, although it's arguable that the 6.5 is River's screwdriver). Ten's is the Mark VI (he also used Nine's Mark V until it burnt out). The Mark II belonged to the third Doctor.

Are those official designations? I just called it mark II because it's the second version that I've made.

I got them from the Doctor Who wiki, so they're as "official" as they get. An obsessed fan counted (and oddly enough, excluded the "door handle").

Damn, as awesome as it is, it's a bit out of my price range. I'm in college and working a part time job so I dont really have $95 I can blow. But keep itup, these are awesome. Hopefully I can get one at some point.
